Retrofits

Cutting Machine Repair has been a Burny System Integrator. The last time I spoke to them they were only offering one controller so we no longer quote any Burny products for retrofits. Some spare parts are still available. We have also been quoting with Flashcut CNC and Machmotion.  Due to limited products from Burny they may not be considered as viable option for your particular application and other products may be quoted.

Here are a few pictures of the two retrofits I did at Apache Steel Works and Fabrication In Houston, TX. On an old Airco K machine we installed a Burny Phantom with DC drives. We did the same with the old Linde CM-56 machine. This was the perfect and most economical choice since they are Oxy-Fuel only machines. Maximum speed is 150 IPM giving them excellent low speed capability for cutting thick material. The customer updated all of the hoses, torches and the bearings as needed and we reworked all of the electrical wiring and together we reserected these two old machines from the dead and gave them another 10-15 years, or more, of useful life.
